We are very happy to welcome you into the world-wide family of Preachers’ Help International. We are confident that our courses can help you develop your Biblical knowledge and preaching ability, as well as give you a well-rounded ministry. We trust that you will find greatjoy in the preaching ofthe gospel, and that this will continue as you pursue your studies with Preachers’ Help. May you see many coming to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through your preaching!
The ministry of Preachers’ Help is dedicated to provide thoroughly Biblical courses and teaching materials for every Christian who is interested in, and who is already involved in, preaching, helping you to study the Bible systematically. We do not promote or emphasize the teachings of any man, but provide an in-depth understanding of the Word of God, through which God’s people are equipped and challenged to grow in their Christian lives. The Apostle Paul said that the Church should equip God’s people (Ephesians 4:1 ‘I -I 2) – all of God’s people, notjust full-time ministers, evangelists and missionaries – so that they might answer the needs of Christian service.Hence, the courses of Preachers’ Help are prepared in a unique format by an experienced world-wide preacher, teacher, and pastor, Rev. Geoffrey Stonier, the Founder and Director of Preachers’ Help International, with a view to:
- 1.deepening the relationship of every active Christian with the Lord through his Word and, thus challenge him or her for the ministry of witnessing and gospel proclamation.
- 2.equipping every preacher with the needed tools for the effective proclamation of the gospel.

AWARDS OF CERTIFICATES
After successfully completing each course, you will receive a MERIT CERTIFICATE. If you satisfactorily complete all the prescribed courses mentioned above, you will be awarded with a DIPLOMA IN BIBLICAL PREACHING (DBP).
To receive a Bachelor Degree --BACHELOR IN BIBLICAL PREACHING - (BBP)-- subsequent to receiving an award of a DBP, you will need firstly to complete other courses, and then secondly to become a Field Worker for 15 weeks (4 months) as a preacher and evangelist in your chosen locality. You will be required to preach at least 3 sermons a week (a total of at least 45 sermons during the 15 weeks) to different groups of people - non-Christians, nominal Christians, saved Christians, educated and uneducated, in rural and urban areas.
We will send you all the details, along with 50 sets of Sermon Critique and Report Forms, to be filled in by two listeners for each sermon, you preach. After your further courses and Field Work have been satisfactorily completed, you will then submit a short thesis on seven different subjects after a further period of 12 weeks (3 months).
These Field Work and Thesis Programmes are a very important component of the entire study programme, not only in deciding whether you, the degree student, have passed or failed, but at the same time, moulding you into a godly and eloquent preacher in your preaching experience. Thousands of pastors, evangelists, Christian leaders, and even ordinary Christians all around the world, are being trained and blessed by the Preachers' Help courses and practical preaching exercises. We want all our clients to preach, instruct, and train other preachers also, in order to fulfil the Great Commission of our Lord by reaching the unreached in every part and parcel of the land.
PRAY WITH US FOR GOD'S WORKING
Our mission-vision is that of a harvest involving all of God's people like you. Hence, please join your hands with us in prayer for the glorious manifestation of God's saving grace through the gospel proclamation of every preacher who is a client of our Preachers' Help courses. Together, we can see the power of God resting upon every preacher to fill effectively and powerfully every corner of the land with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in order to establish the Kingdom of God in the lives of perishing souls. We need your prayers and co-operation, as it is our main goal to train and equip at least 10,000 preachers in our subcontinent of Asia by the year 2010 through our Preachers' Help courses.
Enclosed herewith are a number of courses available to download. After you have finished reading each lesson, meditate on the Scripture verses given, and try to provide your best answers to the questions asked in the lesson, and then send in your answers to us by email or on a separate sheet of paper. We do not require long essay-type answers. After correcting your answers, we will then send you the next set of lessons. There is no time limit. You may work at your own pace and according to your personal circumstances. If you have any questions regarding any subject given in the lessons, please do not hesitate to contact us, as we will be very pleased to help you clarify your thoughts, and send you further material concerning the subject.
All entries from Africa must be sent to 'firstname.lastname@example.org'.
All entries elsewhere must be sent to 'email@example.com'.
All materials are sent free of charge. However, the financial burden of postage, paper, and printing is considerable, and is supported by the members of the Free Evangelical Church, Welwyn Garden City, England, and the friends of Preachers' Help International. If you are able, from time to time, to send in a donation for the work, your gift will be gratefully received. We are also anxious to receive a steady flow of comments and criticisms from our clients. Please keep them coming, for they will all be considered honestly as we attempt to improve the studies at regular intervals. We are committed to a continual improvement of quality in the courses; so feedback is vital.
If you have any special needs in your preaching ministry, or have received some encouragement, please write and let us know. We know that the friends of Preachers' Help will be only too glad to pray for you.
